All air contains moisture, which is called water vapor. The moisture in the air close to the ground comes from the soil and the plants.
When air cools during the night, the moisture is cooled and water droplets form on the grass and plants. This is dew.
We see the dew early in the morning on grass and hanging from spiders' webs. Dew is dried by the sun's warmth.
Frost occurs when the temperature falls below freezing point and the moisture in the air freezes into ice crystals and settles on grass and plants. Frost melts quickly as the sun rises and dries it.
Frost can damage plants because the water stored in them freezes and expands, breaking the cell walls.

Other Languages: Spanish: dew=rocĂo, frost=escarcha
Japanese: dew=tsuyu, frost=shimo

Self Reflect: It was easy to work on this because I had prior knowledge about dew and frost. I did not find anything new about this topic, but it helped refresh my memory.
